My Nonna, born in Modena, ran a Locenda inspiring me to start my restaurants.
Fresh, vibrant, authentic Italian Flavours straight out of my Nonna & My Mamma’s kitchen we are here in the heart Of Durban North to bring my Italian heritage to you.
From melt-in-the-mouth melenzane to tantalizing tiramisu, perfectly prepared pizzas and fresh homemade pastas.
On hot days you can sit outside under cover as you would in a roadside trattoria in Italy.. and if you’re lucky you will have Mamma Luciana come over to your table and tell you stories of her travels in Italy and the many restaurants we opened together.
At Mamma Luciana’s Glenashley, Mamma & Myself found our Sherry & together this amazing team through the years has grown and opened restaurant’s, as well as be part of a
franchise-Mamma Luciana’s Morningside & Hillcrest.
